Noosa (Oncology) – Coming soon
Overview
GenesisCare, Noosa will offer access to cancer care services including modern radiation therapy and allied health support.
The more than 700m2 centre including purpose-built radiation therapy bunker will be located at 90 Goodchap Street, Noosaville, within the Noosa Medical and Professional Centre, and is walking distance from Noosa Hospital. The new GenesisCare cancer care centre at Noosa is estimated to open in mid-2024, aiming to offer oncology treatment to more than 500 patients annually.
Once complete, the Noosa centre will become GenesisCare’s third cancer treatment centre on the Sunshine Coast, underscoring GenesisCare’s sustained investment in advancing oncology services within the region.
At GenesisCare, we aim to offer a personalised cancer care experience designed to help patients achieve the best possible clinical outcomes close to home. Patient care is managed by a multidisciplinary team of passionate healthcare professionals with experience in oncology including radiation oncologists, registered nurses, radiation therapists, physicists, and a dedicated team of support staff.

Radiation oncology
Radiation therapy uses high energy X-rays or other particles to treat cancer and can be used at all stages.1

Our Noosa team may be able to offer patients access to the GenesisCare global network of clinical trials (where appropriate). At GenesisCare, we are able to offer patients access to a range of allied health care support services, all tailored to support patient needs. One of our treatment team are able to discuss the most suitable options with each patient, as needed.
