At our brand new Surrey specialist outpatient cancer centre, our highly experienced team is here to change the way people experience cancer care – from symptoms to survivorship.
People come to GenesisCare cancer centre in Surrey from all over the South East and beyond for the latest cancer treatments, our state-of-the-art facilities and our expert medical teams, including consultants practicing at local and nationally recognised hospitals.

What we offer
We invest in the latest technologies so we can offer many of the most up-to-date types of radiotherapy for all adult cancer types. Your treatment will be personalised to you, and we use special techniques that can reduce side effects.
We have partnered with the charity Penny Brohn UK to provide a unique and evidence-informed approach to supporting your emotional and physical wellbeing during your cancer treatment and beyond. Our on-site Penny Brohn wellbeing consultant is available to you throughout your time as one of our patients.
Exercise is proven to improve your body’s tolerance to cancer treatment and reduce side effects, as well as lower the chance of the cancer coming back. Our specially trained physiotherapists will develop a programme of physical activity that’s tailored to your needs and abilities.
Our CQC rating
We’re registered with the CQC who inspect and monitor healthcare services in England and make sure they’re safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
The CQC has rated 13 of our 14 centres as outstanding or good, with the remaining centre awaiting inspection.

Difficulty getting to us?
From the London Orbital, exit the M25 at junction 10 and follow the A3 (S). Take the exit towards Onslow Village/Guildford Centre and take the third exit at the roundabout to continue on Egerton Road. Go straight at the traffic lights to continue on Gill Avenue, and take first exit at the next two roundabouts to arrive on Rosalind Franklin Close.
Take the exit towards Royal Surrey Hospital and Onslow Village. Take the second exit at the roundabout onto Edgerton Road. Take the first exit at the next two roundabouts to arrive on Rosalind Franklin Close.
When required, we’ll help our patients with transport depending on treatment and locations. Please enquire for more details.
Our patient administration team will call you to confirm your appointment details with you and answer any questions you may have.
Your care team will let you know if there’s anything you need to do to prepare for your appointment, for example if you need to avoid eating before or what to bring with you.
One of our receptionists will check you in and show you our comfortable waiting room before your appointment. We have free tea and coffee facilities for all visitors. Just let us know if there’s anything else you need.
At your first consultation, your doctor will discuss what to expect during any tests, scans or treatments you need. They’ll ask you to complete a consent form before any procedures or treatment. This is a standard requirement and helps make sure you understand exactly what to expect. If you’re unsure of anything, please just ask. Your consultant will take the time to explain and provide additional resources for you if needed.
You can also ask your care team questions at any time if you have any queries or need advice. They’re here to help you throughout your treatment and beyond.
Your care team will give you plenty of advice about what to expect following your appointment. We have plenty of resources such as brochures and webpages to help you, from what’ll happen during your treatment sessions to nutritional advice to help manage symptoms.
For diagnostic tests and scans, we’ll let you know when you can expect your results. We always aim to get these back to your doctor as soon as possible so you don’t have to wait long.
If you’re having treatment, you’ll be given advice about aftercare, what to do once you’re home and any potential side effects and how to manage them. We’ll arrange follow-ups with you to check how you’re doing and that the treatment is working as expected.
